ICAR- Krishi Vigyan Kendra, West Garo Hills organized 29th Scientific Advisory Committee meeting on 11th Feb, 2025 at KVK Training hall in presence of Shri Manish Kumar, IAS, SDO, Jengjal as Guest of Honour. The programme was chaired by Dr. A.K. Mohanty, Director, ATARI, Zone-VII, ICAR RC for NEH Region, Umiam. During the programme, Dr. S.B. Singh, Nodal Officer of KVKs and Dr. B.P. Singh, Head, DTAC, ICAR RC for NEH Region were also present. In the programme, Dr. Monica Suresh Singh, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK, West Garo Hills presented the brief KVK annual report for the year 2024-25. Further, the presentation was continued by Subject Matter Specialist and Programme Assistants of KVK highlighting the annual report of 2024-25 and annual action plan of 2025-26. Officials from various line departments viz. District Agriculture Office, District Horticulture Office, District AH & Veterinary Office, Soil & Water Conservation Dept., Fishery Dept., College of Community Science, CAU etc. including three progressive farmers attended the programme. The programme ended with closing remarks of Chairman and suggestion from various line departments.
